Finding Your Next Home
PEACE OF MIND THROUGH THE ENTIRE PROCESS
The prospect of buying a home can be an exciting time, especially for first time home buyers, but also an overwhelming one. It doesn’t have to be though. As your realtor, I will explain and advise you on every aspect of the home buying process. From choosing a style of home best suited to your lifestyle, deciding on a location, to what happens after you have an accepted offer, I will put my experience as a REALTOR® at RE/MAX of Duncan to work in helping you find exactly what you’re looking for no matter what stage of life you’re in.
First Steps
Before you set out to search for your new home, there are a few steps you’ll want to take. Establish a budget, taking into account expenses above and beyond your mortgage payment (utilities, property taxes, ongoing maintenance & upkeep), as well as what style of lifestyle you’d like to maintain. While not a guarantee, obtaining a mortgage pre-approval at this stage is helpful in determining what you can realistically afford. You’ll also want to start thinking about what your needs are in terms of schools, work, transit, nearby amenities, and extracurricular activities ~ all of these will factor into your home buying decisions.

Financing
When you’re ready to arrange financing, you have a wide variety of options to choose from. Take the time to consult with different financial institutions and mortgage brokers to find out what they have to offer, what they’ll need from you, and what options exist for managing your mortgage after the purchase is complete. David can advise you on what to consider when choosing a lender or mortgage broker as well as connect you with professionals in your area to help make this part of the process as seamless as possible.
Connecting with Sellers
As a REALTOR® at RE/MAX of Duncan, David has access to a wide network of properties for sale to help find the home best suited to your lifestyle and families' needs. Through his established network of realty professionals, he often has a heads up on homes that have yet to hit the market, giving you a competitive advantage over other buyers.
